Passionate about the GSP for 20 years
I felt in love with the German Shorthaired in 1997, the first time I saw one. The next year I bought my first puppy, and the rest is history. My objective have always been nothing less than the excellence, to breed the best dogs. True versatile dogs, who can be top show champions one day, hunting companions the next one and the kids best friends the rest of the year. My goal is to produce superior quality dogs, with a calm temperament, easy to train, and who will be ideal companions. This is why our dogs perform and can be found in conformation rings, on hunting grounds and on jogging, cani-cross, snowshoeing and mountain biking trails. But above all, they are wonderful family dogs. De Lombardie dogs have won numerous prestigious awards over the years like Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show, Sporting Dogs Group First, top ranks in Canada and United States, etc. They are beautiful dogs who can hunt as is proving the FDJ, FD and NA titles collected through our recent involvement in Field Dog Tests. De Lombardie is a registered kennel with the Canadian Kennel Club. I am an active member of the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Canada and a member of the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America (GSPCA).
